Managed VPS
When done properly, there’s no good reason to deploy Dedicated! Virtual Private Servers are a powerful way to take your clients to the internet. DDoS-protected over optical fibre, and operating on enterprise-grade Dell Cloud servers with Intel Xeon / Data Centre components, they’re weapons-grade. From there, we dig deep into your systems, configurations, process flows, and beyond if/as you’d like, to improve systems to aid your online systems.
Automated WP
Where you run the internet-leading WordPress CMS, you’ll benefit from fine-tuned automations for WP. To do this, we use WP Toolkit and WP CLI primarily, with behind-the-scenes automations to improve how you interact with WP across your client websites. If you’re not leveraging WP, we revert back to Installatron as this supports other systems like Drupal, Joomla, Moodle and beyond – as well as forum systems, shopping carts, etc. It’s easy.
Email Security
It’s crucial that you’re able to reassure your end clients that emails are going to make it, even where they don’t leverage business-grade mail providers like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Some of the key ways we tackle this are via FCrDNS (forwards-confirmed reverse DNS – ie. A record = PTR record), email reputation/abuse reports, MTA (Mail Transport Agent) ie. Dovecot/Exim configs and security, and dedicated Spam Filtering.
Global DNS
We fork out nameservers from client Managed Servers, such that they are in other cities within Australia. From there, some clients opt for a 3rd nameserver so they have a global presence as well – however this is voluntary as it compromises data sovereignty so is a client decision. PowerDNS is our DNS software of choice, as it supports DNSSEC, AAAA records, and is highly-performant yet resilient at the same time – the perfect engine.
WHMCS
If you’re passionate about scaling your Hosting and providing some level of self-service to your end clients, then it’s worth looking into WHMCS (Web Host Manager Complete Solution) which can handle billing, support, deployment, and other automated jobs. This gives your end clients flexibility, and allows you to remove billing hassle. It also includes the ability to Project Manage natively, as well as CRM extension, etc. We can set-up, import, tune.
